Looking for Sports Field Maintenance Training?

This full day on-field industry event brings together sports turf professionals across the province for specialized turf management training, networking and to check out the products and services available.  This event is up close and personal.  The day runs from 7:30am to 2:30pm.  It's a day that's talked about for years! 

OUR DAY INCLUDES

• Connecting with the suppliers and vendors who serve our industry
• Sports field maintenance presentations
• Speaking with experts in the industry 
• Ability to meet other sports turf professionals who do what you do
• On field demonstrations such as
• • robotic / autonomous equipment
  • warning track maintenance
  • line painting

  • various cultural practices (overseeding, aerating, topdressing, etc.)

  • equipment introductions up close
  • use of tarps / covers
  • irrigation inspections
  • battery operated tools and equipment

preliminarY Program

7:30am  Registration and networking with coffee & munchies

8:00am  Introduction & Presentation 

9:00am  On-field demonstration:  Ball Diamond Maintenance including the Layout, Edging, Mound and Plate – courtesy of SiteOne and Mar-Co Products

10:45am On-field demonstration - Robotic Line Painting – courtesy of Turf Tank

11:30am Lunch with exhibitor / demonstrator meet

12:30pm Rotations of on-field demonstrations including such options as: 

• equipment use and set up 
• slope / bank mower 
• battery operated tools and equipment 
• fertilizers and what you should know

Working on some maintenance practices (overseeding, topdressing, fertilizing, aerating, thatch control, etc)

2:30pm Thank you for coming, it’s going to be a talked about event!

Registration includes educational presentations, supplier displays, lunch, field demonstrations and refreshments.

CANCELLATION

Notice of cancellation received by Sports Turf Canada no later than 10 calendar days before the event date will receive a complete refund less a $45 administration fee.  Those who register but do not attend will not receive a refund.  If you are unable to attend, you may send a replacement in your place, provided written notification with replacements name and email is sent before the event begins.  Registrants will receive a full refund should the event be cancelled.  We reserve the right to cancel an event due to conditions beyond our control.  Registrants are required to reach out to Sports Turf Canada by phone or email to resolve payment or refund concerns.
